Explosion, fire at Duson, Louisiana chemical plant

A fire broke out at a chemical plant in Duson, Louisiana, sending massive smoke plumes in the air and prompting an evacuation for a mile all around. Louisiana State Police have said that no injuries have been reported from the fire at FlowChem Technologies, which provides products and services to the oil and gas industry.  Crews are currently working to remove all xylene and other dangerous chemicals around the site. The Department of Environmental Quality is monitoring the air quality near the plant before allowing people to return home. There is no word on when the evacuation order will be lifted.
