Who’s Really Behind The Hogg Anti-Gun Book?

Anti gun propaganda book due out soon

Who really paid to publish new Hitler style anti-gun propaganda?

Move over George Soros, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg might have found a sneaky way to spread anti-gun propaganda and raise funds for his own gun-control crusade. The media billionaire might be responsible for a book deal given to two survivors of the horrific school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Survivor and gun-control proponent David Hogg and his sister, Lauren, have received a book contract from a major New York publisher, The Associated Press reported. NeverAgain: A New Generation Draws The Line is envisioned as a manifesto for a mass gun-control movement.

The new anti gun propaganda book is scheduled to be published by Penguin Random House, the world’s largest book publisher according to Publisher’s Weekly, on June 5, Fortune reported.

“This book is a manifesto for the movement begun that day, one that has already changed America–with voices of a new generation that are speaking truth to power, and are determined to succeed where their elders have failed,” a Penguin Random House press release reads.

Sales Of Hogg Anti-Gun Propaganda Will Benefit Bloomberg Gun Control Group

It is not clear if Bloomberg is paying for the publication of Never Again, but Penguin Random House will donate to Everytown for Gun Safety, a group that the ex-mayor co-founded, for each copy sold.

Bloomberg pledged to match each donation to Everytown and another group called Moms Demand Action. The Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University announced this after the Las Vegas massacre in October 2017.

Everytown is notorious for spreading anti-gun propaganda that is so inaccurate even liberal media outlets are critical of it. The Washington Post called a list of school shootings put out by Everytown “flat wrong.”

Hogg Book Will Fund Group That Spread Fake News About Guns

In February, Everytown claimed that the Parkland massacre was the 18th school shooting in the United States in 2018. That was not true; Everytown grossly inflated its figures with incidents that were not school shootings, a Post analysis indicates.

Everytown’s “school shootings” included a suicidal man who shot himself in a car in a school parking lot, a shooting in a sorority at Wake Forest University, and a report of shots fired in a parking lot at a Michigan High School at 8 p.m., several hours after classes ended.

Despite the glaring inflation, Everytown Research Director Sarah Tofte called the research “crystal clear” in a statement to The Washington Post.

“Every time a gun is discharged on school grounds it shatters the sense of safety,” Tofte said. Under Tofte’s definition, target practice at a school shooting range or the firing of blanks from a gun in a school play would “shatter the sense of safety.”

News reports about the Hoggs’ book contract did not mention Everytown’s history of spreading fake news.

David and Lauren Hogg have attracted national attention for participating in anti gun propaganda demonstrations. Both are students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where a gunman killed 17 people on St. Valentine’s Day, 2018.

Anther interesting fact is that Penguin Random House also published Michael Bloombergs’ book:The Self-Made Billionaire Effect:How Extreme Producers Create Massive Value
