Former US House Speaker Dennis Hastert has been barred by a judge from ever being left alone with a minor. He’s also not permitted to be in the presence of child, even when adults are on hand, unless one of them is aware of his crimes. Hastert, the longest serving GOP House speaker, occupying the position from 1999-2007, was jailed in 2016, having being convicted of trying to cover up a $3.5 million pay-off to one of five boys he molested when he was a highschool teacher in Illinois.
