Independent EMF/AMI Smart Meter researcher Warren Woodward of Sedona, Arizona, is one heck of an activist, in my opinion. Personally, I wish there were thousands like Warren! Recently, Warren emailed some rather disconcerting information regarding “The recent indictment of former Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) chairman Gary Pierce and his wife for Felony Conspiracy, Bribery, Mail Fraud and 5 Counts of Wire Fraud is part of ‘a much larger and more intensive investigation’ by the FBI that is ongoing. Who’ll be the next in line?”
Warren included an article by reporter Laurie Roberts of The Republic newspaper wherein this little tidbit appears:
The indictment alleges that then-Commissioner Pierce in 2011-12 led a successful drive both to raise rates for Johnson’s water and sewer company, Johnson Utilities, and to force utility customers to pick up the tab for income taxes owed by Johnson. This, after opposing both requests in 2010.
In return, the indictment says, Johnson via Norton handed over $31,000 to Pierce’s wife, Sherry, and was planning to buy Pierce a $350,000 piece of property.
It’s rather interesting how regulators ‘regulate’! The State of Arizona is not unique; California experienced a similar regulator scandal regarding an AMI Smart Meters scandal embroiling California Public Utilities Commission President Michael Peavy regarding allegations of bribery and corruption.
This article offers a lot more information regarding the Peavy scandal. Check out “Federal grand jury probing PG&E and scandal-rocked state agency.”
So why do I bring up these examples of malfeasance in office by public utilities commission members?
Because currently the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is caught in an untenable situation regarding the PA PUC’s rewriting of HB2200, which was an OPT-IN Smart Meter bill, to a mandatory, no opt-out piece of ‘legislation’ based upon what the PA PUC ‘believed’ the legislature meant!
However, the manner in which the PA PUC and its Administrative Law Court act does not provide for the American way of freedom of choice and informed consent regarding adverse health effects from AMI Smart Meters, which the PA PUC must be held accountable for mandating Pennsylvanians becoming sick and compromised, especially those who are electromagnetically hypersensitive or have chronic diseases or have children on the Autism Spectrum, who are adversely affected by the EMFs/RFs emitted by AMI Smart Meters.
