so what does the dnc do? well, not let the fbi look at its servers, that much we know. instead it engages a private, paid-for, operation called cloudstrike. and they buckle down and get to work. and nine months later:

note that other than changing the names to the more russian reminding "bear", cloudstrike doesn"t seem to have moved the ball much beyond the fbi"s position last fall. assuming the dnc didn"t waste a lot of time between being told by the fbi that they were "hacked" and engaging cloudstrike, which immediately identified the russian origin (maybe with a hint from the fbi via the dnc?) why exactly did they wait nine months to reveal this information? well guccifer 2.0 is on the case and maybe he kindly gave them a heads up. see how much sense this all makes?
