Manhattan nuclear power plant hidden in plain sight? Some speculate

(INTELLIHUB) — Actor Tom Hanks was taking a stroll in Lower Manhattan when he discovered one of the most ominous buildings in the world.

Soon after, the famed actor tweeted out his discovery which resulted in a twitterstorm.

“This is the scariest building I’ve ever seen! WTF goes on inside?? Hanx,” the Hanks tweeted.

The 29 story, 550 foot tall skyscraper, formerly known as the AT&T Long Lines Building, reportedly houses a highly-secretive NSA communications hub.

The building is well-secured and off limits to cameras.

Passersby often speculate that some type of “secret government” activity is being conducted inside or that the facility could be a nuclear power plant that’s hidden in plain sight.

The skyscraper is located at 33 Thomas Street and can withstand a nuclear blast.
