(INTELLIHUB) — It seems to me that CNN — the ‘Clinton News Network’ — is getting very bored or frustrated — I’d say a combination of both.
Have a read of their latest whimpering:
Since getting elected, Donald Trump has tweeted about America’s nuclear arsenal, the competency of American intelligence agencies and trade with China. But he has not taken sustained questioning about anything in a live, impromptu news conference. We’re left to speculate about what he really means, what it’s based on, and where he’s taking us.
I think the key is pretty much found in the last sentence. Speculation. That’s exactly why Trump doesn’t want to have anything to do with CNN and their equally libelous associates. That’s exactly why only 6% of Americans trust the mainstream media. Because the media lies, they fabricate stories, they hyperventilate, they sensationalize, they genuflect, fawn, gush and then cry when their candidate loses.
You see, the establishment media is absolutely freaking out right now. They fear that they will lose their jobs over the next four years because there will be no press conferences to turn up to, their liberal amounts of speculation will make their ratings plunge further and the populations distrust will go from 6% to zero percent.
Despite trying very hard not to betray their nervousness, I know their shaking in their boots right now.
“We know that the public does not trust the media. That is a huge problem, and news organizations need to think hard about what it will take to regain public confidence,” the article says.
See? They even acknowledge the public’s distrust of the mainstream media establishment as being a “huge problem.” But that’s not our problem. It’s not the public’s problem. It’s their problem.
I say forget about trying to regain public confidence. It’s too late…. it’s too late. Move over and make way for the Fifth Estate because it’s coming and it’s already much bigger and better than the establishment.
When you lose people’s trust, it will take a lifetime to regain it. But this time, I don’t think anyone will give the mainstream media another chance. The entire 2016 fake news narrative failed spectacularly and that was the final straw that convinced the American people that the mainstream media has lost all credibility.
Too bad there’s no press conferences to harvest information and then sensationalize and misconstrue it. We live in 2016 – soon to be 2017. Press conferences are a thing of the dying mainstream media living in the past. I say: bring on the future.
What’s wrong with Trump producing YouTube videos addressing the American people directly, unedited and uncut? What’s wrong with Facebook posts and tweets that give the American people the message that Trump – not the mainstream media – wants to them to hear?
I see the use of social media to disseminate a message as being just perfect. Independent journalists like myself and all the great folk at Intellihub and other independent news agencies can have easy access to this information without relying on the mainstream media to bring us the stories.
CNN even admits this. They said “technology empowers everyone to consume or disseminate information anywhere, anytime.”
But no, they won’t have any of that. The corporate controlled press views the Fifth Estate — the use of social media platforms as a massive threat – a very dangerous threat — to their operation. That’s why they’re panicking big time. That’s why they creating the ‘fake news’ narrative to attack independent journalists like myself and agencies as a whole like Intellihub, Breitbart, WND and Infowars.
Ceasing the facilitation of press conferences like I said before would cause them to lose their jobs, their staff sizes would shrink and they would have less sensational stories to report on.
After all, press conferences are about the person behind the microphone delivering the message he or she wants to deliver to the public. The mainstream media’s job is to bring that to the public as intact as practically possible. But, no, the mainstream media doesn’t do that. Instead they liberally edit, they put words in people’s mouths, they take words out of context and they put their own cultural Marxist, liberal, leftist slant to the narrative.
Trump’s been fed up with CNN’s lying, fabrication, fake news production and their laughable cheerleading of Hillary Clinton throughout the 2016 election campaign. So have the American people and probably many other people around the world.
Flashback to November and just weeks after Trump won the election, he addressed these liars at a media summit and gave them the dressing down that they deserved. New York Post reported:
Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sit-down on Monday, sources told The Post.
“It was like a f***iing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.
“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said, “I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,"” the source said.
“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing-down,” the source added.
“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing-down,” the source added.
A second source confirmed the fireworks.
“The meeting took place in a big boardroom and there were about 30 or 40 people, including the big news anchors from all the networks,” the other source said.
“Trump kept saying, ‘We’re in a room of liars, the deceitful, dishonest media who got it all wrong.’ He addressed everyone in the room, calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was [a] network of liars,” the source said.
“Trump didn’t say [NBC reporter] Katy Tur by name, but talked about an NBC female correspondent who got it wrong, then he referred to a horrible network correspondent who cried when Hillary lost who hosted a debate — which was Martha Raddatz, who was also in the room.”
The stunned reporters tried to get a word in edgewise to discuss access to a Trump administration.
And if we rewind back to August, The Week reported:
Donald Trump has a lot of feelings about CNN. So many, in fact, that on Monday afternoon the Republican presidential nominee was firing off tweets slamming the network at a rate of more than one tweet per minute. In just five minutes, Trump had tweeted six times — all about CNN:
CNN will soon be the least trusted name in news if they continue to be the press shop for Hillary Clinton.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
CNN anchors are completely out of touch with everyday people worried about rising crime, failing schools and vanishing jobs.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
When will we see stories from CNN on Clinton Foundation corruption and Hillary"s pay-for-play at State Department?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
Will CNN send its cameras to the border to show the massive unreported crisis now unfolding — or are they worried it will hurt Hillary?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
The people who support Hillary sit behind CNN anchor chairs, or headline fundraisers – those disconnected from real life.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
People believe CNN these days almost as little as they believe Hillary….that"s really saying something!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
And while Monday’s tweetstorm may have set a new record for Trump’s rate of CNN-bashing tweet output, it’s far from the first time he’s made the network the target of a trademark Trump Twitter tirade. Last month alone, he tweeted about CNN nine times. Here’s a look. Becca Stanek
Isn"t it sad that on a day of national tragedy Hillary Clinton is answering softball questions about her email lies on @CNN?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 8, 2016
I heard that the underachieving John King of @CNN on Inside Politics was one hour of lies. Happily, few people are watching – dead network!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 10, 2016
.@FoxNews is much better, and far more truthful, than @CNN, which is all negative. Guests are stacked for Crooked Hillary! I don"t watch.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 17, 2016
The ratings at @FoxNews blow away the ratings of @CNN – not even close. That"s because CNN is the Clinton News Network and people don"t like
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 17, 2016
.@CNN is the worst. They go to their dumb, one-sided panels when a podium speaker is for Trump! VAST MAJORITY want: Make America Great Again!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 18, 2016
Networks other than low ratings @CNN have been very fair and exciting!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 18, 2016
The @CNN panels are so one sided, almost all against Trump. @FoxNews is so much better and the ratings are much higher. Don"t watch CNN!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 24, 2016
The media coverage this morning of the very average Clinton speech and Convention is a joke. @CNN and the little watched @Morning_Joe = SAD!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2016
Wow, it is unbelievable how distorted, one-sided and biased the media is against us. The failing @nytimes is a joke. @CNN is laughable!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2016
Trump’s simply giving them back their own medicine. He’s keeping them at an arms length to teach them a valuable lesson that they need to learn.
The mainstream media chose to be biased against Trump during his election campaign so why should they expect him to give them more ammunition to fire back at him? The mainstream media has chosen to lie, fabricate, distort, sensationalize, hype up stories and insult their viewers’ intelligence and they’re suffering the consequences for it.
As Alex Jones said in a Facebook Mentions livestream today in addressing the mainstream media’s lies and fabrication, “nobody wants to hear you.”
“Everybody sees through you… that’s why you want to shut us (alternative media) down,” he said.
