Moon making closest pass to Earth since 1948

(INTELLIHUB) — The biggest and brightest moon ever seen since 1948 will occur Monday at 6:23 EST, coming some 216,000 miles from Earth.


Reports say that the moon’s orbit is “egg-shaped” and that’s why it will appear it’s biggest Monday morning, until the next time the phenomenon will happen in 2034.
