BAYTOWN (INTELLIHUB) — Although a number of refineries along the Gulf Coast still remain crippled after suffering damage brought on by Hurricane Harvey, one Texas refinery has announced that it will be resuming production.

Reuters reports: “Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) said it was restarting its 560,500 barrel per day (bpd) facility in Baytown, Texas, the second-biggest U.S. oil refinery after it was inundated by flooding.”

However, according to reports out of San Antonio and Austin, not only are commercial tanker trucks not arriving at their destinations on schedule but dozens of oil tankers reportedly still remain afloat in the Gulf waiting to offload their shipments of crude destined for refineries.
