Highest employment rate on record for Brexit Britain

Recession, catastrophe, impending economic doom was the cry from those ‘economic experts’ if the UK voted to leave the European Union. In reality, the employment rate is now at a record high 75.1%.

The unemployment rate meanwhile is 4.4%, the lowest since 1975 with average weekly earnings also up 2.1%, higher than the forecast 1.8%.

A recent report showed wages rising at the fastest rate for 20 months, with starting salaries receiving a Brexit boost.

Britain is not heading for economic catastrophe – instead a clean Brexit will be great for workers and should result in wages rising for hardworking Brits.
