Never bow: Trump sets a new tone with Saudi visit

Trump sends a strong message to all foreign leaders with this one powerful move

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (INTELLIHUB) — President Trump and the First Lady arrived in the capital city Friday setting a new tone for America — one that implies to all nations that Americans demand respect.

Like a boss, Trump stood his ground firmly in the broiling 100-degree heat while meeting with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud face-to-face on a desert tarmac during the President’s scheduled visit Saturday. During the exchange, which was captured on video, King Salman bowed slightly to an ever-firm Trump, who authored the best-selling book: “The Art of the Deal.”

During the exchange, which was captured on video, King Salman bowed slightly to an ever-firm Trump, who, of course, authored the best-selling book: “The Art of the Deal.”

The President’s stern actions show a distinct contrast between Obama era policies and Trump era policies and offer some insight into where the country as a whole is headed in general.

“LOOK CAREFULLY at these two photos,” musician Vinnie James tweeted. “The one on the RIGHT is a lesson in American exceptionalism: @FLOTUS no hijab, @POTUS no kowtow.”

President Trump told the Saudi King that meeting him was a “great honor” as the two shook hands in a friendly manner.

Later in the day, both parties appeared to be in good spirits and could be seen smiling while talking to one another.
