(INTELLIHUB) — In a maneuver that can only be considered as Orwellian, the outgoing and former president Barack H. Obama ordered Donald Trump’s wires to be “tapped” at “Trump Tower” before the “victory,” President Trump Tweeted Saturday after his discovery.
Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

The commander-in-chief went on to question the legality of the matter in several follow-up tweets which have already gone viral.
“Is it legal for a sitting President to be “wire tapping” a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!,” the POTUS tweeted.

At this time it’s unknown how the president came across the information or what agency provided the taps.
